Vidyasagar Eye Care Centre

VECC or Vidyasagar Eye Care Centre is a Non-Profit, Services hospital for speciality vision care. Situated in 220, Hossenpur Road, Kolkata, it is one of the prominent optometry-run centres for quality eye care.

The hospital is a non-profit body and we have a team of dedicated eye care professionals that consists of qualified optometrists, practising ophthalmologists, researchers, speciality service professionals.


Our aim is to provide quality eye care services at a low cost with a broader aim of eradicating preventable blindness in accordance with international standards and organisations. The centre offers both out-patient services. Camps, vision screening initiatives in schools and financially deprived societies are regularly and actively hosted by the centre.









Students and VECC

The centre functions closely with the college for academic training and observership programmes. Our students benefit from the centre for their training purposes which is a part of the curriculum. This facilitates grooming of our graduating students to their best.

COMMUNITY EYE CAMPS

The institute has a team of eminent Optometrists & Ophthalmologists along with some of the 3rd & final year students who organise eye camps in different parts of West Bengal on a regular basis. It aims to provide vision care services to the community at a very minimum cost & thereby play a major role in eradicating preventable blindness from the society.
