National Scholarship Portal offered by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India: This is a Mission Mode Project (MMP) of National Scholarships Portal under the aegis of National e-Governance Plan. It aims to create a common electronic portal for the implementation and disbursement of various scholarship schemes initiated by the Union Government, the different State Governments and Union Territories across the country. This initiative endeavours to provide a Simplified, Mission-oriented, Accountable, Responsive and Transparent 'SMART' System for faster and effective disposal of Scholarship applications and delivery of funds directly into beneficiaries' account without any hindrances.

Aikyashree offered by West Bengal Minorities' Development and Finance Corporation, Government of West Bengal: It focuses on the progression of the minority communities that include Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains, and Parsis. It provides financial assistance to motivate economically crippled but meritorious and interested students to continue with their higher studies. It aims at strengthening the socio-economic statuses of the many minority communities by offering them educational opportunities at different levels. The scholarship includes all the expenses like tuition fee along with hostel fee (if any) and maintenance allowances.

Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship offered by the Government of West Bengal: This is a merit-cum-means based scholarship scheme for the meritorious and economically backward students of West Bengal studying at the higher secondary level, undergraduate level, postgraduate level and above. Revamped in the year 2016, the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship now comes with a significantly increased number of seats and enhanced rewards. Administered by the Government of West Bengal, the sanctioned amount of scholarship this year onwards has been increased from INR 45 Crore to INR 2,000 Crore.

Student Credit Card Scheme offered by Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal: This scheme is designed to support the educational aspirations of students. They are given the economic support to pursue a course of their choice from affiliated institutions within and outside India. A student from West Bengal can obtain a maximum loan of Rs. 10 lakhs @ 4% per annum simple interest from the State Cooperative Bank and its affiliated Central Cooperative Banks and District Central Cooperative Banks and Public/ Private Sector Banks. 1% interest concession will be provided to the borrower if the interest is fully serviced during the study period. The upper age limit for the interested students has been kept as 40(forty) years at the time of applying for loan. The repayment period shall be fifteen (15) years for any loan availed under this Credit Card including the Moratorium/ repayment holiday.
